The Royal wedding has come and gone but Bishop Curry’s remarks have had a lasting impact.

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, president of Evangelism Explosion International.  The American Bishop’s remarks at the royal wedding have catapulted him onto the world stage.  Bishop Michael Curry is the presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church serving in the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.  But it’s his winsome delivery and his message on love that has captured so many.  He said, “Love your neighbor.  Love the neighbor you like and the neighbor you don’t like.” Then he said, “That’s why we’re here.”  Now who could argue with that message?  After all God is love and we are to love our neighbor as our self. But here’s the reality, we can love people all the way to Hell.  If there’s an issue with the message it’s that the Gospel wasn’t preached.  If we truly love people, we’ll tell them about Jesus’ death and resurrection to pay the penalty for our sins. That’s real love.  Need help sharing your faith, visit ShareLife.today.
