Preach and Teach posted by John Sorensen on Sep 22, 2017
When sharing your faith, have you had someone say, “I witness by my life” or maybe you’ve come across the saying, “Preach the Gospel. Use words when necessary?”
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. Now, our life should be a witness for the Lord and no one should ever be surprised when they find out we’re a Christian because we should be living godly lives. But too often, these axioms are used as an excuse to be silent and to not witness. Think about it, Jesus is the one who gave us the Great Commission found in Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20. He tells us to “preach the Gospel” and goes on to say, “teaching them to obey all that I have commanded. “ So, how do we preach and teach without words? Obviously, we can’t. We have to use words. If you need help with knowing what to say, we’d love to help. Just visit ShareLife.today for free tips, tools and even a video with an easy to learn, hard to forget Gospel presentation.
