Are you a cruise ship Christian or a battleship Christian?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  It’s an intriguing analogy.  When you think of a cruise ship, it’s all about you and fulfilling your needs.  You can just sit back and relax while others do everything for you.  You socialize with people you like or don’t socialize at all if you choose.  After all, the cruise ship exists to make you happy.   A battleship, however, is a different experience.  It’s not about you; it’s about the mission.  Everybody on the ship has a job, and every job is crucial.  You’re there to serve and to work with your fellow crewmen, and you don’t necessarily get to chose who they are.   The mission is paramount, and the battleship is measured by how well it does in battle.  Obviously the difference between a cruise ship and a battle ship comes down to purpose.  Are you fighting the good fight and always ready to give an answer for the hope you have?  If not, you can be.  We’re here to help, and we’ll even send you a few free tracts.   Visit ShareLife.today.
