If someone were to ask you why you believe in God or the Bible or Jesus Christ, would you have an answer?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  It might help if we see people’s questions from this perspective – – they simply don’t know the reason for our hope.  So, it’s our job to help them understand so that they can then make an informed decision about the person and work of Jesus Christ.  We don’t ever need to fear the skeptics because there are reasonable answers to every question people ask.  Here’s a couple of important thoughts.   First, be prepared as we’re reminded in I Peter  – always be ready to give an answer for the hope that we have.  And second, more important – be kind.  Again in I Peter we’re told, “Do this with gentleness and respect.”  You see, attitude is everything.   So be pleasant, be prepared, be patient, peaceable, and purposeful – “that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth.”  To read or download our Answers to Tough Questions resource, visit our website at ShareLife.today.
