Are you one of Jesus’ disciples?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for Share Life Today. Now, I didn’t ask if you know Jesus. I asked if you’re a disciple. Disciples follow closely and imitate whomever they are following.

A study done by Barna Group about discipleship says this, “As Christians bring the unchanging message of the Gospel to the world, effective approaches to discipleship become more important, especially in a world that is increasingly polarized around spiritual issues.”

It’s so important to draw close to Jesus and help others do the same. As we disciple, we teach believers how to witness and walk in the light and love of Jesus.

Ephesians 4:16 says, “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Try to find a believer you know who needs a little encouragement in their walk with Christ and walk with them.
