I suspect that the idea of starting a monthly magazine entitled “Beautiful Feet” wouldn’t catch on.  Not many of us use the adjective “beautiful” to describe feet.   But the Bible does – twice!  Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  Did you ever wonder about that “beautiful feet” comment found in the Bible?  It’s found in Isaiah and Romans.  “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News!”  There is a direct connection, in both references, to feet and the bringing of Good News…proclaiming salvation…preaching the Gospel.

Feet can be involved in many acts of kindness..

…bringing encouragement to the discouraged

…bringing companionship to the lonely

…bringing a meal to the recuperating

But none of these feet are beautiful.  With your encouragement…or companionship…or meal – preach the Gospel, and suddenly your feet are beautiful.  Do you want Beautiful Feet?
