Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord posted by jwatson on Mar 26, 2012

Here’s an email I received from a dear friend of the ministry last week:

Dear Chuck: Would you please encourage the EE network to pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 for our country (USA)?

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

During WWII an advisor to Churchill asked the nation of Britain to stop whatever they were doing at 9 p.m. each night and pray for the safety of Britain. God answered their prayers.

Can you imagine what God would do if Christians started praying along these lines???

President Reagan is attributed with saying, “Either we remain One Nation Under God or we become One Nation Gone Under”.

It moves you to tears to think how much is at stake. But then I look at my picture of George Washington praying in the snow at Valley Forge – there was a lot at stake there, too.

Would you pray with us? That God’s people would humble themselves, pray and seek His face and turn from evil?
