When you think about sharing your faith, do you become fearful or do you have a certain confidence?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, president of Evangelism Explosion International for Share Life Today. Once someone finds a witnessing tool that works for them, it changes everything. Greg’s a perfect example. See if you can relate to what he says. “Prior to evangelism training I knew the basic elements of the gospel, but when it came time to share, I felt very very disorganized and ineffectual. I also had difficulty getting the conversation started. Now after being trained, I not only have a concise and well organized way of presenting the gospel, but it is also very powerful. To sum it up in one word, the training gave me confidence. Confidence knowing, sharing, leading and introducing people to Jesus.” Now Greg knows that it’s the Holy Spirit that makes his sharing effectual but having a tool helps him to be intentional.
