Do we need more junk food or healthier diets?

I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  While most people would nod their assent at the need for healthier diets, few seem ready to abandon junk food.  Now, let’s think about this in terms of evangelism.   Do we need more Christians who sit by silently as our culture erodes more and more, or do we need more followers of Christ speaking up and being vocal?  While many would voice the need for more speaking up, few are actually doing so.  As a friend of mine said recently, he’s convinced Christians like the idea of evangelism – as long as someone else is doing it. I hope that’s not how you feel.
