When talking about sharing your faith, have you ever had someone say, “Well, I witness by my life”?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  Now, let’s think about this.  “I witness by my life,” sounds like a valid form of witnessing.  And don’t get me wrong, no one should be surprised when they find out that we’re a Christian because we should be living Godly lives.  But too often “I witness by my life,” has become an excuse for being a “silent witness.”

In other words, we live our lives before our friends and neighbors, never saying anything about Christ and what He has done for us.  So, when we do something nice for our friend, who gets the credit?  Well, truthfully, we do.  Not Jesus.  So, when you think about being a witness you need to use words.

Need help knowing what to say, no problem, go to ShareLife.today where you’ll find valuable resources.  You can also watch a short video giving more explanation about being “The Silent Witness.”   Visit us at ShareLife.today.
