EE Kiev Training Center Rising From the Ruins posted by jwatson on Feb 19, 2013
One year ago, the D. James and Anne Kennedy Training Center for World Evangelism in Kiev, Ukraine caught fire. It was a devastating time for Dr. Nickolay Revtov, EE Vice President for Eurasia.
Before the fire, the Center was still relatively new and served as the hub for EE Eurasia training. But a gas leak caused the fire that gutted much of the building and put a shocking halt to EE training.
But God answered prayer. EE supporters were notified, sent prayer and emergency funding. Volunteer teams were quickly mobilized from the USA and Australia to clean up and repair the building. The Center, beautifully restored, was re-dedicated with Dr. John Sorensen, EE President, in attendance last May.
Nickolay Revtov, EE Vice President for Eurasia, is overjoyed. “The Center is much better now,” exclaims Nickolay, “I praise the Lord for it and thank everyone very much for their efforts.”
Thank you for your support of EE International. It enables us to quickly respond to these kinds of incidents, mobilize people and provide the relief and restoration needed. To give securely and safely, please visit www.evangelismexplosion.org/give.
Dr. Sorensen at re-dedication.
New center fully restored.
