Sometimes I hear people say that evangelism is a gift.  But it’s not. It’s a command. And as such, evangelism is both the privilege and responsibility of every believer.

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  Tony shared with me how he connected with a person at Starbucks and he began to share the Gospel. They reached a point where this person had to leave. What do you do now? It would have been easy for Tony to hand him a Gospel tract and leave it at that, which isn’t a bad thing.  But in this case, Tony asked this new friend if he could get together again for lunch and continue the conversation.  You see, Tony understood the privilege he had to share Christ with this person; but also the responsibility and made the effort to make the most of this encounter.  This is just one example of how we can reach out to people we meet, and share our faith.  I hope you’ll share life with someone you meet today.  For free tips, tools and other resources to that will help you connect and share, visit us at ShareLife.today.
