Do you have conversations with people who don’t believe in God?  If so, these people typically want actual proof that God exists.

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  Here are a couple proofs for the existence of God.  First, ask the person to consider the universe.  The universe had to come from somewhere.  You see every cause has an effect — and it couldn’t have created itself because the first law of Thermodynamics says you can’t create something out of nothing.  So, someone eternal must have created it and the Bible says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”   Another proof is the presence of life itself.  Life could not have come from non-life, nor could it have happened by chance.  It also had to be created.  Who else could have created it but God?
