Invest Your Saturday posted by John Sorensen on Jan 27, 2020
How do you spend your time on the weekends? Most people who are off work spend time with family, friends or resting. Or juggling all of the chores you didn’t get around to during the week! So, I know, Saturdays can be sacred. But I am going to challenge you with something. Invest your Saturday into someone’s eternity. Here’s how you can do that: go to an Equip America event.
We’re going all over the United States in search of believers who want to be trained to share the Gospel. Maybe you’re thinking, ‘John, I already know how to share the Gospel. We’ve been over this!’ But are you confident in doing so? If you’re not, Equip America is perfect for you. It will help give you the confidence to practice what you already know.
If you, like so many believers, have no idea where to start in sharing your faith; Equip America is perfect for you, too! We’ll start from the ground up, beginning the day teaching you how to share your faith. After lunch, you will get a chance to share the Gospel alongside an experienced trainer!
I cannot think of a better way to spend your Saturday. We have countless stories of believers learning how to confidently share their faith in the morning and leading people to saving faith in Jesus later that afternoon! You were made to do this very thing!
A man who attended an Equip America event told us, ‘God’s people are everywhere. Some of them don’t know it yet. But He has called us for a purpose.’ So, go fulfill your purpose!
To find out about our upcoming Equip America events and to see when we’ll be in a city near you, you can visit EquipAmerica.org. If your city isn’t on the list, tell us you want it to be next!
This is our focus this week at Evangelism Explosion through our social media channels and our daily broadcast. Visit ShareLife.Today for resources and tools to help you share the Gospel with those around you.
May God richly bless you this week as you invest your time into someone’s eternity!
