Have you come to the place in your spiritual life where you know for certain that when you die you’ll go to Heaven?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  I’ve asked that question thousands of times and you know what the most common answer is?  Not “yes” or “no” but rather, “I hope so.”  The reason for this “hope so” answer stems from the idea that we can earn our way into Heaven.  I hope that my good works outweigh online casino my bad.  I hope that I have been good enough to get into Heaven.  Right at this point in our spiritual discussion, I mention the words of 1 John 5:13 – “I write these things to you…that you may know that you have eternal life.”  Then  continue by telling them that, “The Bible clearly says that we can have a “know so” faith in a “hope-so” world.  Could I have a few more minutes to explain to you what the Bible says about this know-so faith?”
