Laundry Baskets for Christ posted by John Sorensen on Apr 02, 2018
Here’s a witnessing tip.
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. Recently, an adult Sunday school class in Florida began visiting Laundromats with the goal of having spiritual conversations. The teams take laundry baskets including a few items. They approach people and give their names and the name of their church and tell them that the basket is for them and represents the free gift of eternal life that Jesus offers. If the person accepts the basket, they tell them that in it is box of “All” detergent because “Jesus paid it All.” It includes “Gain” fabric softener because people can “gain eternal life.” There’s “30 quarters” – because Jesus was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver but he died on the cross and rose from the dead to purchase a place for us in Heaven. Every basket includes a Gospel tract and church invite. Already one person has prayed to receive Christ and many more have heard the Gospel. Want to give it a try? Download an info sheet and receive a few Gospel tracts at ShareLife.today.
