Can you imagine packing up all that you could fit into your arms and fleeing to another country for safety? For many in Africa, this is everyday life. In Tanzania, one refugee camp was established with more than five hundred thousand children who escaped war and violence from neighboring countries. Some children’s workers from local churches felt the great call to go and help this community. On top of what they could do to aid their physical needs, they also brought a program to share the hope of Christ with these children. After many gave their lives to Jesus, they started training them in how to share their faith with others. Hope began to spread. The workers have not only taught this program once, or even twice, but three times already. And they won’t stop until every child knows that Jesus loves them and wants to have a personal relationship with them. This kind of passion is why we do what we do!
