Have you ever heard the term, ‘Lone Ranger Christian’?
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for Share Life Today. The Lone Ranger Christian says they believe in Jesus, but they stay in isolation. They say ‘I want to go to Heaven, but I don’t want to do anything with my faith.’ We can even be lone rangers at church – slip in, sneak out. No need to create new relationships. That’s a pretty dangerous attitude, don’t you think? God has made us very social beings. We’re made to be a part of community. As believers, we’re already a part of the body of Christ, so we need to work alongside and grow with the rest of His body. A weak body does nothing, but a strong body moves and grows. How can you step up your faith and grow in the Lord? Why don’t you start by getting close to the body of believers? Study the Bible, worship and fellowship together. If you’ll do this, I know your faith will be stronger and you’ll help others along the way. For tips and tools on how to do that, visit ShareLife.Today
