Mental health and suicide are very real issues today.  Many times the people who are suffering need medical help but in addition, as believers, we serve the God of all hope who gives us Good News to share.

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, president of Evangelism Explosion International for Share Life Today.  Here’s a testimony from Melanie about a church visit. Melanie wrote, “As I headed out with friends to share the Gospel, we prayed for God to guide us.  A woman we’ll call Mary had visited our church, so we stopped by her home to introduce ourselves and see if she had any questions about God or the church. She gladly invited us in, and after chatting for some time, she told us she had been thinking about committing suicide that night. God obviously had other plans for her! We were able to encourage her, pray for her, share the Gospel with her, and lead her in a decision for Christ.” That’s a great reminder that God orchestrates divine appointments.  For help sharing your faith, visit ShareLife.today.
