Means of Growth: Fellowship posted by John Sorensen on Apr 30, 2020
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
We’re all in this together, right? Recently, we’ve all been cooped up. Social distancing has become the new normal. But there may be something we’re missing in our spiritual life because of it. Fellowship. Here, I think, is the main point of fellowship: through calm seas or crashing waves, people in fellowship are in the same boat. They need each other…depend on each other…encourage each other …challenge…support each other. Christian fellowship is all of these plus praying for one another, caring for one another and developing friendships with one another. Perhaps this is behind the promise of the Gospel that where two or three believers are gathered together, Jesus is in their midst. So how can we have fellowship in a time of social distancing? Call a friend from church and ask how you can pray for them. Share what God is teaching you right now! If you’re unsure of how to start a Gospel conversation, we have a free online Gospel training course. Visit ShareLife dot University. Share Life dot University.
