What is EE Changemakers?

EE Changemakers Interns on BeachJesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” Luke 10:2

EE Changemakers is a new and exciting ministry program of Evangelism Explosion International, that will commence in 2019. Its purpose is to glorify God by building a global team of millennials who are committed to experiencing dependence on Him as they faithfully serve through the ministry of EEI.

The program consists of two parts: a six-week training internship at one of EEI’s global training centers, followed by a two-year mission service project with one of the many local EE teams around the world. We aim to build upon the foundation laid by the EE Discover Internships, which for over a decade, successfully equipped hundreds of Christians worldwide to discover and pursue God’s calling on their lives.

In a world where so many people are living for themselves, EE Changemakers encourages young adults to pursue a life of surrender and to emulate Paul’s heart in Acts 20:24: “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the Gospel of the grace of God.” Our prayer is that the Lord would use this program to raise up ‘Changemakers’ around the world, who will be equipped and sent into His harvest field.

What is the Plan for 2019?

Interns in Fiji Training CenterEE Changemakers 2019 will commence with a six-week training internship in Nadi, Fiji. This program will provide you with evangelism and ministry partner development training and with the knowledge, guidance and tools to prepare you for full time ministry. You will discover your strengths and gain insight into the many ways you could use these strengths to serve through the ministry of EEI.

Following the 6-week training internship, you will spend 3-6 months actively building a team of financial ministry partners who will enable you to receive further training and ministry experience on a two-year Mission Service Project. The leaders of the EE Changemakers Ministry will continue mentoring you as you work alongside local EE teams around the world.

EEI is looking for young adults, between the ages of 18-35, who are currently thinking about or pursuing full time ministry and who can commit two and a half years to gain hands on experience with those already in full time Gospel ministry. If the vision of EE and EE Changemakers excites you, contact us and we’ll get back to you!

Who is Leading EE Changemakers?

Mitch and Ashley Deans

Mitch and Ashley met on the 2015 EE Discover Internship in Fiji. Little did they know that God was calling them not only to each other, but also to their ministry. They got married in Australia in Mitch’s hometown in February 2017 and then moved to Florida in the US to live in Ashley’s hometown. Mitch is currently finishing his Degree in Theology and they are both in involved with the youth group and evangelism training at their church. They are passionate about their rescue dog, Daisy, but are even more passionate about seeing young adults take huge steps of faith for the sake of the Gospel! They cannot wait to meet the first candidates for EE Changemakers and begin investing in them.
