More Than 129,000 Children Discipled—and Growing! posted by John Sorensen on Nov 20, 2012
Our Hope for Kids ministry has equipped millions of children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And now by God’s grace, Explorer’s Club, a 12-week discipleship program created through a partnership with The Mailbox Club, is making huge inroads in helping children walk deeper in their faith in Christ.
Already, more than 129,000 children have gone through the Explorer’s Club training.
In Tema, Ghana, the Community Worship Center was one of the first to implement our Hope for Kids ministry in 2010 and they also took part in our Explorer’s Club pilot program.
Today, Community Worship Center is the first church in the African country of Ghana to graduate children in the Explorer’s Club ministry. Sixty-one children were presented with certificates of completion. More than receiving certificates, these children are equipped and their faith is set on the solid ground of the Bible and their Savior Jesus Christ.
EE’s Explorer’s Club ministry is making impact in childrens’ lives around the world.
“I was Moslem because my parents are Moslems. I live with my aunt and there I started going to church every Sunday afternoon. Through the Explorer’s Club lessons I understand that we are all sinners and if we accept Jesus in our heart, He can forgive us and save us (Acts 10:43). I received Jesus and I read the Bible. I’m very happy and I know that one day God will call me to go to Heaven.” –Maï, BURKINA FASO
