Hi All,
I’m not sure what you’re doing tomorrow night (Thursday March 31), but can I tell you about a movie?
Back in Omaha, Mike Ferraguti and I worked with a very talented musician by the name of Steve Horner. Steve just wrote me to tell me about a movie that he had the joy of scoring (writing the music for). The movie is called, “My Run” and is the inspirational story of a 57 year old guy named Terry Hitchcock who years after losing his wife to cancer and raising his 3 kids on his own decided to raise awareness for single parent families by running from St Paul to Atlanta for the 96 summer olympics (he was 57 at the time). The dream was to complete a marathon a day for 75 consecutive days. The film is about his journey. It’s narrated by Billy Bob Thornton.
But here’s the thing: it will be showing in 515 theaters across the country for one night only. Here’s a link to the main film site www.myrunmovie.com . It’s a very highly recommended family friendly film . Focus On The Family just gave it their highest rating in a recent review. You can access that review from the website.
So then, if you have the time and want to support good quality film-making, I encourage EE’s staff to check it out…
