Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

Today, as we mark the National Day of Prayer, I hope you’ll set aside time to pray for our nation and our world. We so desperately need the hope and healing found in the Gospel of Jesus. We’ve seen so many bad things happen this year, it’s time that we turn our eyes to the Giver of all Good things! As you pray for our nation, not just today but every day, I would also encourage you to pray for opportunities to share the Gospel with those in your sphere of influence.  It’s one of the most patriotic acts we can perform because when people come to Christ, their entire worldview begins to change and that changes a community, a city and a nation.  So, pray – in order that you may be a truly effective witness for Jesus Christ.  And ask God to show you someone you can share the Gospel with today and then you can introduce them to the power of prayer.  If you need help sharing your faith, visit Share Life dot Today.
