  Are you scared to speak up? Truthfully, some of us may be on the other end of the spectrum, and may need to keep our mouths closed every once in a while! But when it comes to sharing the Gospel, we should always be ready to speak the truth in love! You see, we’re told in Luke chapter 12 verse 12, by the Lord Jesus Himself, that the Holy Spirit will give us the words to say when we need them.

While we may not have all the answers and not every Gospel conversation will go exactly how you would like, the Lord will use what you say for His glory, if you will do it for Him.

Jim Stewart told me about a time where he just didn’t know what to say. He had been witnessing to a Buddhist woman in Burma and she said that her family would disown her if she accepted Jesus. Talk about a roadblock! Jim prayed as he was speaking with her and told her that if she did accept Jesus, the Lord would take care of her. You know what? That simple answer was exactly what she needed to hear and she left that day, a daughter of the Most High God!

Everyone needs the Gospel and you never know who might accept Him today. While it may be intimidating to share Jesus, it’s well worth it and will never be wasted. Learn from Jim’s example, that our Heavenly Father hears our prayers and will give us the right answers at the right time!
