Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.   But sadly, too often evangelism is seen as the pastor’s job.  In fact, in the late 1970’s a trend started in American churches that went something like this, “You bring ‘em in and we’ll get ‘em saved.”  Is it any wonder why, 40 years later, we’re seeing fewer people coming to Christ in most of our USA churches and church attendance tends to be on the decline.  There was a poll recently that shows that some of our churches, many of them are “reaching no one for Christ in the course of an entire year.”  And the number one reason given is that “Christians have no sense of urgency to reach lost people.“  How tragic!  But worse than that, it breaks the heart of God.  The good news is that it is possible to be equipped to share the Gospel and see people come to Christ.  And we can help you.  For tips, tools and even free Gospel tracts to get you started, visit ShareLife.today.
