Pass the Thimble! posted by jwatson on Dec 01, 2011

In the late 60’s, the Vietnam war spilled over into Cambodia as the U.S. attempted to destroy North Vietnamese bases there. At that time, it was a place to avoid.

Today, much has changed and the EE ministry has wonderful presence in Cambodia. As a matter of fact the EEOC (Evangelism Equipping Organization Cambodia) is organized and running strong under the Mighty Hand of God.

The EEOC developed a vocational training school, teaches evangelism, and much more:

• Language training in Khmer and English

• Computer classes

• Sewing classes

They get discipleship (six current classes) and life skills too.

EE training has spread to Phnom Penh, Kamong Cham Province, and Oddor Mean Chey Province. Korean churches are asking THEM to come to Korea to equip Korean believers to share their faith! In 2011, they equipped almost 1,000 people.

And if a button popped off of a shirt, they could take care of that, too.
