Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
I hope you have enjoyed looking around the world this summer with us as we spotlight different continents and what God is doing in these places. This week, we will be hearing testimonies from Eurasia, which is perhaps one of the hardest places in the world to be a Christian. Made up of the former Soviet Union and most of the Middle East, it is a place where persecution happens every day to Christ-followers. And yet, God is moving mightily in these countries. For instance, in a village in Lebanon, a family heard the Gospel from a team of Christians who knocked on their door. The husband, wife, and all the children gave their hearts to Christ that day. The village, which was predominantly Muslim, was not pleased and began persecuting them heavily. However, God used the Christians who came to encourage the family to share with the village about Christ, and their minds were changed. Let’s be encouraged today to step out ourselves and share the Gospel. Learn more at share life dot today.
