Prophecies Fulfilled
350 Prophecies Fulfilled in Jesus Christ
More than 700 years before Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem, the prophet Micah announced that He “that is to be ruler in Israel” would come forth from that obscure village.
Over 30 men have, throughout history, claimed to be the Jewish Messiah. Yet it is only Jesus and His teachings that have clearly blessed all the nations of the world. He alone fulfills the Old Testament prophetic portrait.
And it wasn’t by chance. The probability that one man would fulfill just 48 of these ancient predictions has been estimated to be one in 10157. In other words, it is almost infinitely improbable that these highly specific prophecies would all be realized in one human being.
For a deeper look into the biblical prophecies fulfilled by Jesus Christ check out D. James Kennedy and Jerry Newcombe’s book, The Real Messiah: Prophecies Fulfilled, available here.
The following is a list of 350 prophecies, many of which are examined in depth throughout the book. This list comes courtesy of According to the Scriptures in Manitoba, Canada (www.AccordingtotheScriptures.org).
