Where I live in the mountains of North Carolina, rainbows are a regular occurrences. And while they’re beautiful to look at, they actually tell us something very important.
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. The Bible gives the real meaningof the rainbow. By the time of Noah, people were so sinful that God judged the earth with a worldwide flood. Following that catastrophe, thefirst rainbow appeared with the promise from God that He’d never again destroy the earth with a flood. It’s a symbol of God’s grace and mercy. And the cross, where Jesus died for our sins is the ultimate symbol of God’s grace and mercy. Because the Sinless One took upon Himself our sin, we can be recipients of God’s saving love. Our lives and this world will one day come to an end and then, time will give way to eternity! And the person saved by the blood of Christ will live forever in His presence. That’s the Gospel – believe it and cherish it. And if you need help sharing it, we’d love to help. Visit our website at ShareLife.today.
