Have you gotten your list of New Year’s resolutions ready yet? I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for Share Life Today. If you haven’t made any resolutions, I have one for you! Maybe you’re someone who sets goals and absolutely sticks to them, or maybe you think you’ll fail, so you don’t try at all. The New Year is always flooded with good intentions of becoming healthier, more productive or financially responsible. While these things are all well and good, Jesus has called us to a bigger goal! Before Jesus left the earth, we read in Acts 1 that He told us to go out and witness to everyone, we know that as the Great Commission. If you think you can’t do it – you’re wrong! If you can have a conversation with someone, you can witness! This year, resolve to be a witness for Jesus Christ.
