Share Hope in the Midst of the Storm

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, millions more in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and South Florida are now bracing for Hurricane Irma. While those in the path of the storm prepare for the worst, the most important thing we can do, as Christians, is to pray. Many EE partner churches and trainers live in the path of this storm and need your prayers.

Some prayer points to consider:

  • Pray for safety for the people who are in the path of the storm and the first responders who will travel into the storm.
  • Pray for the Christians already on the ground in these areas who know how to share their faith. Ask God to provide opportunities for them to share the Gospel with someone who doesn’t have hope or peace in the midst of the storm.
  • Pray for the churches throughout this region, that they will find a way to be a beacon of light after the storm to their hurting communities.
  • Pray for the lost who have no hope in times of trouble. Ask God to send His laborers to share the hope of Jesus Christ with them.

If you would like to know how to have hope in the midst of the storm or if you would like to learn more about how to share that hope with others, read Steps to Life today.
