People are starving but not for food. They’re starving for spirituality! Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for Share Life Today. Think about the people you know. They settle for a house, a few friends, a job, and an annual vacation. But their souls are in great hunger for truth. You can see this by the aisles of self-help books and all the lifestyle bloggers. People are looking for all kinds of things to find meaning and purpose, including religion. Hebrews 11 says “they’re longing for a better country—a heavenly one.” We all have this spiritual dimension within us. God has placed eternity on our hearts, so don’t think that others don’t want to hear the Gospel. They do! If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you know that longing has been fulfilled! So, tell someone else how you’ve been made whole!
