Is there someone you’ve been praying for? A family member? a friend? Hoping they might receive the Gospel. My friend Scot was out late one night when he met Steven. Scot was immediately prompted by the Holy Spirit to tell Steven that someone had fervently been praying for him. Surprised, Steven turned to Scot and said “Yes! My grandma always calls to tell me that she is praying for me”. Well, that night Steven came to know Jesus but we know that would not have happened without the faithful prayers of Steven’s Grandma. Colossians four three tells us that our prayers can open a door for the Gospel to be received. Prayer will always bring forth fruit in due season. You may not see it right now, in fact, you may not see it for a long time but don’t lose heart, God is working. Steven’s grandma faithfully prayed that he would come to know Jesus, and he did.
