Do you struggle sharing the Gospel with strangers? What about with family and friends?
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. You know, people often say that you have to have a relationship with someone before you can share the Gospel with them. So, when we encounter a stranger, we’re basically out of luck, right? On the other hand, I’ve heard people say it’s often harder to share the Gospel with people we know – like friends and family. So, hey, I guess that gets us off the hook – we can’t talk to strangers, and it’s too hard to talk to family and friends. Now, of course, I’m speaking with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. But I will say, it is actually harder to share the Gospel with those we already know. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it. And I’m sure that there are some listening who are grateful for a family member who shared the Gospel with them. I also know that there are many believers today, who were introduced to God by a stranger. So, here’s a good rule of thumb, if you feel the Holy Spirit prompting you, go for it. We’ll even send you some tracts to help. Visit us at ShareLife.today.
