Decisions have consequences and some of the decisions we make when we are young can impact the rest of our lives – for good or bad.
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, president of Evangelism Explosion International for Share Life Today. David Kinnaman, president of the Barna Group points out that “decisions made from ages 18 – 28 are crucial and involve setting up the foundation for life.” He points to the Christian student’s faith as the basis for their decision making and if they abandon it, they lose the foundation of their worldview so it crumbles. And we all know that when there is a void, something else takes its place. So what can we do? For starters, we need to make sure our young people are grounded in their faith – understanding who Jesus is, and what He has done for them. Then we need to teach them how to share their faith with others. You see as they learn to share their faith, they are being discipled and growing in grace and knowledge. If you need help equipping them to share their faith, we would love to help. To learn more, visit ShareLife.today.
