“Suffering is part of our faith. . .”
More than 248,000 Egyptian boys and girls have completed EE’s Explorers Club discipleship training. Hundreds of churches participated.
Just imagine the impact these children—trained to share Jesus with their friends and neighbors—will have on their nation and our world.
Despite extreme persecution, the Gospel is going forward across the Middle East and the world. “We know that suffering is part of our faith,” writes the director of EE in Egypt. He knows that so many more need to know what Jesus did for them in Egypt and around the world. That is why EE is trusting God and working hard this year to equip 1.5 million believers worldwide to share the Gospel—up from 1.2 million in 2016. It’s a huge step forward, but it won’t happen without the generous help of key friends and partners like you.
For that reason, I am asking you now to consider an extra-generous gift today.
And to encourage your support, some very generous ministry friends—people who are thrilled by what God is doing through EE—have created a $150,000 Matching Challenge Fund. That means every gift before the June 30 deadline will be doubled up to $150,000. Your donation of $100 becomes $200, $250 grows to $500, and $50 turns into $100. But time is short to take advantage of this special opportunity. And only the first $150,000 can be matched, so give now to double your gift. We are already hearing exciting news about what God is doing through EE, thanks to friends like you . . .
- Brittany in Oregon learned how to share the Gospel through EE and led
someone to Jesus for the first time in her young life. EE gave her “the tools to
do it,” she said, adding, “I feel just full of joy.” - Churches are raving about Hope for Kids, the EE ministry which teaches
children to share Jesus. “What Hope for Kids has done for us this week is mind
blowing!” one church leader in Kenya wrote. “Children have come from all
around us who never come to church. And the numbers…”
Great things are happening around the world through EE, because of you.
But two billion people still have not heard what Jesus did for them. That is why it is crucial we reach our target of training 1.5 million believers to share Jesus this year.
Will you make your most generous gift now to help make this possible?
Let me tell you one more reason why your gift now is so needed. Frankly, we are running seriously behind in giving and with just over a month to go before our fiscal year ends on June 30, our forward progress could be stalled if we are unable to end the fiscal year in the black.
Of course, this is not just about numbers on a ledger page. The eternal destiny of people is in the balance. They haven’t heard, but you can help send them the Gospel today! But you only have until June 30 to take advantage of this special opportunity to double your gift. So please make your most generous gift right away!
Thank you for being one of those special people who understands and cares about reaching the world for Jesus. Your generosity today will make a real difference in the lives of many!
Together, in His service,
Rev. John B. Sorensen, D.D.
