When you see a group of teenage skateboarders, is a witnessing opportunity your first thought?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  A staff member recently told about being in a store parking lot with about 15 skateboarders.  Not wanting to miss the opportunity he said, “Hey kids, come over here.  I want to talk to you.”  Some ran off, probably thinking he was the store manager, but about 8 came over and he began to share the Gospel.  Five ended up staying to listen.  One particular girl told him she was an atheist and she didn’t believe in God.  But not being deterred, he said, “That’s okay, let me finish and then we can talk about that.”  He then continued sharing.  When he was done and asked them if what he shared had made sense to them and if they’d like to receive the gift of eternal life.  You know, 3 of the 5 said yes and the girl who kept objecting was one of them.  If you’re not sure you could share your faith like that, go to ShareLife.today and we’ll be happy to get you started by sending you some of our Eternity in Your Hand tracts.
