When was the last time a neighbor asked for your help? Were you prepared? I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for Share Life Today. Vince had just walked in the door to his house when his wife told him that their new neighbors, Alan and Amelia, had a leak in their roof and the drywall was sagging! Vince rushed over to their house with a flashlight and drywall saw in hand. After fixing the leak, he felt the Holy Spirit telling him his work was not yet finished. So, he asked if he could ask them two questions. With permission given, Vince shared how he knew for certain that he was going to go to heaven. About 20 minutes later, both Alan and Amelia prayed to receive the free gift of salvation. God used a leaky roof to bring about a neighborly, divine appointment.
