Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

Have you ever had someone tell you that when we die it will be like falling asleep and never waking up? Now, for those who don’t want to believe that there’s any accountability for their life, that notion undoubtedly brings comfort.  But it’s a false comfort that leads to eternal death. We have to warn people. As believers, there are two Biblical reasons we do believe in life after death.  One, is that the Bible makes it clear that we were made for eternity and we will live forever, either in Heaven or in Hell.  Another biblical reason, for life after death, is the resurrection of Jesus Christ.   We recite in the Apostles Creed, speaking of Jesus, that He ”…was crucified, dead and buried, He descended into Hell, the third day He arose from the Dead and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty… “  Hallelujah!  Easter is the perfect time to share this hope with people.  Need help sharing this Good News?  Visit ShareLife.Today.
