The Way You Walk posted by John Sorensen on Aug 19, 2019

You’ve heard the phrase, ‘lead by example,’ many times, I’m sure. You also know that you can say really great things, but if you don’t put those principles and values to action, you might as well not say anything at all. No matter who or where you are, a small or a big sphere of influence, you are being watched.

Belle was a new believer who wanted to share her faith as much as possible. She had just begun classes through EE and practiced as much as she could, anywhere she could! She even began witnessing to and praying with telemarketers. This woman would share with anyone who would listen.

To help her remember the Gospel outline, Belle bought giant poster boards and hung them on her living room walls so she could read the outline when she was home. She didn’t think anything about this – she was just trying to train her mind. One day, Belle’s teenage daughter had a friend who was waiting to take her to work. Her name was Amanda and she had been to their house a few times and would always have to wait on Belle’s daughter. One day, Amanda finally asked Belle about the posters and said she’d been reading them every time she came over. Belle says Amanda accepted Jesus as her Savior that very day!

Ephesians 5:15 and 16 say this: ‘Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.’

Belle makes the best use of her time. Are you doing that as well? If you’re not, start now! Be intentional in prayer and in words. Live like you’re making the difference in someone’s eternity, because you are.

This is our focus this week at Evangelism Explosion through our social media channels and our daily broadcast. Visit ShareLife.Today for resources to help you share your faith.

May God richly bless you this week as you walk in step with the Lord.
