How’s your prayer life?

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, for ShareLife.Today. You know, prayer is essential to growing in our faith. But it’s also something a lot of us tend to put near the bottom of our priority list. It might be easier to read your Bible or participate in corporate worship. But do you know what Jesus made a top priority? Prayer. There are many times where Scripture tells us about Jesus going away from the crowds to pray. If prayer was this important to the Son of God, it should be at the top of our to-do list, too! My challenge to you is to take time away in prayer every single day. Don’t just pray in passing, or before a meal. Really pray. Worship God before anything else. If you focus first on how good God really is, you’ll enjoy prayer more and will want to draw closer to Him! Take the time to get to know the Lord Jesus through prayer.
