Back in the Midwest, I lived next to a neighbor for five years without ever saying anything about Jesus.  Regardless of what people tell you, it does not get easier sharing the Gospel with someone the longer you know them — it gets harder! Well, our neighbors had been going through a very tough time. I acknowledged what was going on and said, “You know, Jesus can help. He’s the most important person in my life and He’s helped me so much.” I’ll never forget the look. My neighbor said, “You’re a liar. I know every important thing about your life. And now you’re telling me that Jesus is the most important person to you and you’ve not mentioned Him? I don’t believe you.” After I picked myself off the ground, I had to acknowledge that he was right. I started by apologizing. Once he accepted that, I was able to tell him about Jesus, and he gave his life to Christ. Dear friend, don’t wait. Share the love of Christ today with those you love.
