Hi, I’m John Sorensen, president of Evangelism Explosion International. One Sunday a young man came to Edward Kimball’s class. When it came time to look up Scripture, Kimball realized that the newcomer had no idea where to look in the Bible, so he quickly stepped in to save him embarrassment. Grateful, the young man, whose name was Dwight, took an immediate liking to the teacher. Shortly after, Kimball visited him to talk about the Lord. That visit was providential because within a short time Dwight Lyman Moody, came to Christ. And through the course of DL Moody’s ministry, God used him to win souls and equip soul winners, who would take the Gospel throughout the world.
