Are you intimidated to share your faith in this day and age? It really can be intimidating as our culture continues to shift away from the Gospel and closer to lifting up whatever it is that will bring an individual instant gratification.

Don’t let a secular society prevent you from sharing the love of Jesus! Everyone is searching for purpose and meaning in their life and Jesus is the only One who can give it to them!

Recently, a woman in our ministry named Susan set out to witness. She quickly realized the area she was in really needed the Gospel. She later found out that the specific neighborhood she was in was called the “war zone” by locals. She said that she prayed continually while she was there and felt an overwhelming sense of peace. She said she shared the Gospel to the best of her ability and left knowing it was up to the Lord to produce the fruit. Susan was reminded that no matter where you go, the Lord is the victory and it’s His Holy Spirit who does the work.

Susan says that fear is removed when we realize that it’s all in God’s hands and we are just commissioned to do His work!

So, the next time you’re discouraged about the state of our culture, pray and witness! Complaining and hiding out will do nothing but harm, but the Gospel brings peace, even in the “war zone.”
