When sharing your faith, has someone ever said, “But what about those who have never heard?”

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International.  For some, this question is a smokescreen – taking the focus off the person’s own spiritual condition and focusing it elsewhere.  While for others, it’s a sincere question.  Either way, Scripture gives us the answer.  First, in Romans Chapter 1 we read that God’s eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen so that we are without excuse.  In Psalm 19 we read that the Heavens declare the glory of God and in Romans 2 we’re told that God has written the law on our hearts.  You see, people do know that God exists and, in their heart, they know right from wrong.   So, if asked, “What about those who have never heard?,” share these verses and then tell them that it’s wonderful that they care about people who have never heard but that right now, they have the opportunity to hear the best news they could ever hear and then share the Gospel.  For help with this objection, watch our latest video at ShareLife.today
