We’ve all heard the saying:  It’s not what you know that matters. It’s WHO you know.

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. That could certainly be said of Jesus’ disciples.  They weren’t considered great intellects and they didn’t have their Masters or Doctorates.  Yet look at the impact they had for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Acts 4:13 sheds light on what set Peter and John’s ministry apart.  It states:  “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.” So, they were bold in sharing their faith. They were common. And look at that last part. They were with Jesus.
