Willing to Die posted by John Sorensen on May 23, 2019
When Nyle was living on base during the war in Vietnam, part of his job was to drive a bus for the church youth group every week. Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International for Share Life Today. Nyle said that even during a time of war, the kids had so much peace. He couldn’t explain it, until he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. When he did, he felt that same peace! During his time serving in Vietnam, he made a friend named Terry who came alongside and helped him in his walk with Christ. He says that as a Christian in the Air Force, he was willing to die for the people he was protecting to show them the love of Jesus. That is commitment to God! To lay aside your life, so that others might see Jesus through you. Let Nyle’s service and sacrifice serve as a reminder to you to share God’s love.
