One of the most difficult things that we can face is when we find out that a loved one becomes terminally ill and yet they don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. It happened to Paula when her dear cousin, Andrea, was diagnosed with cancer. Paula knew that Andrea did not have a relationship with Jesus and had strong feelings about even discussing the topic. So, when Paula wanted to share her faith, fear of upsetting her cousin held her back. Thankfully after much prayer, she stepped out in faith and shared Jesus with Andrea. And, to Paula’s surprise, there was no rejection or conflict. Instead there was a sweet prayer of salvation as Andrea made Jesus her Savior. And now, while Andrea battles cancer, they share a daily devotional over the phone. Would you be able to use even the most difficult times in your life for God’s sake and glory?
