Worst Case Scenario posted by John Sorensen on Mar 02, 2016
How many times have you anticipated a worst case scenario and when the time came, it was nothing like what you feared.
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International. I’ve heard that 90% of the things we fear never come to pass and yet we expend so much energy worrying about them. The same can be true for witnessing. We have a tendency to think the worst: What if I try to share the Gospel and someone asks me a question I can’t answer? Well, first, let me say that Satan loves to use that fear to keep Christians quiet. Second, in all my years of witnessing, it’s been rare for someone to challenge me with a tough question. It’s far less common than you’d think. And third, ifsomeone does ask a question that you’re not sure how to answer, tell them you’ll be happy to get an answer and get back with them. Remember, the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes so the goal is to stick with the Gospel as best you can.
